What is an apprentice electric?

An apprentice electric, more commonly referred to as an apprentice electrician, is an entry-level worker who is training to become a licensed electrician. Apprentices typically work under the supervision of experienced electricians, learning how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in homes, businesses, and other buildings. The apprenticeship usually combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction, and can last several years.
