These positions are designed for individuals new to the field, often providing on-the-job training and support. Typical duties include monitoring boiler systems, recording data, assisting with routine maintenance, and ensuring safety standards are met. Many employers require only a high school diploma or GED and may help new hires obtain necessary certifications. This role can be a great starting point for a career in maintenance or engineering.
