Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II for UH Lake West Medical Center located in Willoughby, OH. Sodexo's growing Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as an experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician II to support Healthcare Technology services.

What You'll Do
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment functionality and patient safety.

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance testing.

  • Provide timely and efficient service while prioritizing urgent repair needs.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to understand equipment issues and deliver excellent customer support.

  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards related to healthcare technology management.

  • Assist in the installation and calibration of new equipment.

What You Bring
  • Experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical devices independently.
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Experience with medical repairs on equipment such as Philips/Masimo Patient Monitors, Respiratory, Infusion Pumps, and Defibrillators. 
  • The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
