Job description

Under supervision accurately install, configure, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on clinical equipment and associated systems used in hospital or clinical settings. Provide precise and timely documentation of work performed. Assist clinical staff in the proper use of clinical equipment.
Minimum Education
  • Associates Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Biomedical, human anatomy and physiology coursework preferred.

Minimum Work Experience
  • 6 months experience installing, configuring, testing, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing a wide variety of electronic equipment required.
  • Experience with hospital clinical equipment preferred.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting and repairing computer networks.

Required Licenses/Certifications
§ Valid Drivers License required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Medical, anatomy and physiology terminology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Read, interpret and trace circuits on a schematic diagram.
  • Effectively troubleshoot equipment failures.
  • Correctly perform on-schedule and on-demand preventive maintenance.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).

Pay Range: $29.23 - $42.58
