Rotary Knifing

Position Summary

We’re hiring for a Rotary Knifing role inside a die‑casting facility. This position involves inserting rule (knife steel) into die boards using an automated rule‑bending machine, along with hand‑finishing when needed. The knife is secured into the die by hammering it into place, requiring consistent upper‑body strength throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

Insert rule into die boards using an automated rule‑bending machine

Perform hand “finish bending” using pneumatic tools and hand tools

Secure knife steel into dies by hammering with a mallet

Work with dies of various shapes, sizes, and customer specifications

Inspect rule placement for accuracy, fit, and quality

Follow detailed job instructions and safety procedures

Maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

Must have strong upper‑body strength and ability to hammer throughout the day
