Job description

Project Surveyor

We're working with a fast growing firm in Wisconsin to bring a Project Surveyor to their team. As a project surveyor, you will work directly with our survey manager and other crew chiefs. You will be responsible for all assigned jobs, ensuring accuracy and that they are completed on time. Experience will be required for troubleshooting issues that may arise on a job site. As a project surveyor will also communicate professionally with contractors and clients, answering any questions and relaying information to our office.

Scope of Work:

  • Responsible for every survey field work job assigned– preparation and execution
  • Communicate between clients/contractors and our office when needed
  • Make decisions and problem solve for questions and issues that may arise in the field
  • Perform field work – preliminary design topography, post as-built topography, setting systems of control, lay outs for commercial and residential storm network, roads, and structures
  • Boundary field work – full plat of survey, subdivision, CSM, lot line adjustments and land boundaries
  • Coordinate with engineers when needed
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Attend weekly team meetings

Requirements:

  • No degree required
  • 2-4 years of experience in surveying
  • Proficient in Carlson SurvPC or equivalent
  • Able to read a map
  • Able to work in all weather conditions
  • Relocation package offered!
