Let&rsquo;s energize the future together.<br><br>New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Senior Evaluation Measurement and Verification (EM&amp;V) Specialist to support the EM&amp;V team for the Energy Efficiency (EE) programs for New Jersey Natural Gas. The Senior EM&amp;V Specialist is responsible for leading a specific workstream within EM&amp;V, such as conducting program evaluations, verifying energy savings utilizing the New Jersey Technical Reference Manual (TRM), and/or regulatory and other external reporting including internal monitoring of Quantitative Performance Indicators. Additionally, the EM&amp;V Specialist is responsible for supporting broader department goals such as development of regulatory program filings, identifying important issues in EM&amp;V policy-related matters, coordinating with other New Jersey utilities' EM&amp;V teams and the Statewide Evaluator, as well as implementing enhancements to both NJNG's tracking systems, as well as program design in coordination with the program managers.<br><br><strong>Major Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Help develop and ensure the proper execution of NJNG&rsquo;s EM&amp;V plans.</li><li>Monitor NJNG&rsquo;s performance on established on Quantitative Performance Indicators and other key metrics, including highlighting potential areas of concern/need for corrective action with NJNG management.</li><li>Participate in the procurement process for external EM&amp;V consultants and ensure such consultants receive necessary information from NJNG resources to complete their contracted scope.</li><li>Support NJNG&rsquo;s participation in statewide EM&amp;V efforts, including participation in working groups and statewide studies as necessary.</li><li>Ensure close alignment with EM&amp;V efforts at other New Jersey utilities for core programs.</li><li>Serve as primary reviewer for proposed changes to statewide protocols for energy savings, including researching comparisons to technical resource manuals in other jurisdictions and lead internal efforts to develop company positions and written responses.</li><li>Participate in national and regional organizations and conferences and review industry studies to understand emerging trends and innovative approaches to EM&amp;V.</li><li>Support the development of NJNG&rsquo;s energy efficiency program filings, including serving as the lead for responding to all EM&amp;V related data requests and participating in settlement conferences as necessary.</li><li>Build understanding of department processes to identify data that can be captured from daily/routine operations to support comprehensive evaluations efforts.</li><li>Support internal ad hoc inquiries regarding the performance of the EE programs to facilitate strategic and tactical business decisions and operations questions</li><li>Identify opportunities for improvement and constructively comment on research plans, study materials, draft reports, and other technical documents</li><li>Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders</li></ul><br><strong>Position Requirements:</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, social sciences or related discipline is preferred.</li><li>4-6 years of professional experience in related fields of data management, energy efficiency, demand response or evaluation is required.</li><li>Strong analytical skills with preferred expertise in data analytics and data interpretation.</li><li>Knowledge of energy efficiency program planning, design, implementation and evaluation, and/or energy policy preferred.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Working knowledge of computer-based software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Availability for work related
