WHAT YOUR DAYS WILL LOOK LIKE AS OUR EXPERIENCED COLLISION PARTS COORDINATOR

This role manages the efficient flow of collision parts and shop supplies from receiving to distribution, making sure that returns are properly completed and vendor credits applied. Your efforts will keep our production operations running smoothly and help support our profitability. Ensuring accuracy, you'll inspect incoming parts, supplies, and freight to verify their quality and ensure they match the repair orders. You'll mirror-match replacement parts and release them to production if they look good. Accuracy is key, and you'll correctly label, organize, stage, and distribute parts according to vehicle and repair order.

If you notice any defects, discrepancies, or damaged products, you'll promptly notify estimators and the production staff. You'll document repair allowances/credits, identify repair options, and coordinate with vendors as needed to resolve any shortages, backorders, or incorrect orders. You'll handle freight-damage claims and maintain accurate parts, vendor, returns, and credit records. Attentive to detail, you'll monitor our inventory levels, proactively order supplies to prevent shortages, and make sure the parts, receiving, and staging areas are clean and organized. You'll work with estimators, technicians, vendors, and accounting staff to prevent production delays and help with other responsibilities as needed.

Our Experienced Collision Parts Coordinator needs:

  • Collision repair parts experience - warehouse, automotive dealership, or mechanical parts experience may also be accepted
  • Familiarity with OEM, aftermarket and recycled automotive parts
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify incorrect or damaged parts
  • Fantastic organization and follow-through skills for effectively managing multiple repair orders and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and vendor coordination skills
  • Comfort using computers, email, and electronic tracking systems
  • Ability to show up on time and give your best every day
  • Ability to safely lift/move automotive parts and supplies
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preferred - CCC ONE experience
