SUMMARY:
Leads and develops the team responsible for marketing planning, creation, and operational execution of a wide variety of experiential marketing programs for Nintendo Stores.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
  • Oversees and directs execution of experiential marketing programs that drive consumer purchase intent, earned conversation and media coverage, industry support and increased engagement for Nintendo brands.
  • Actively collaborates in the strategic planning process with upfront and ongoing development of proposals for experiential marketing programs.
  • Works closely and cross-functionally with internal teams to align overall marketing priorities, key brand messaging, and targeted audiences to fully integrate marketing activities, synchronize consumer messaging, amplify exposure, and drive retail conversion.
  • Leads the briefing and creative development process by evaluating and providing ongoing direction on strategic opportunities, tactics, and execution plans that best promote key Nintendo hardware, software and stores.
  • Presents final experiential opportunities and proposals to senior management for approvals based on strategic approach, projected results, and ROI.
  • Leads the development of creative materials and tactics that deliver proper and impactful use of IP and brand messages.
  • Manages and oversees onsite event execution, and production, to gain insights and learnings for current or future programs.
  • Develops programs to build awareness and expand consumer engagement at Nintendo stores
  • Develops strategies and leads planning for store activations of product launches, IP moments, and holiday.
  • Oversees and coordinates all store marketing materials including signage, AV content, store website, etc..
  • Identifies opportunities and develops plans for initiatives to support key store and brand initiatives.
  • Collaborates with teams for planning of store marketing opportunities including social, advertising and partnership opportunities.
  • Identifies and supports local market opportunities

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
  • Six or more years of experience in consumer marketing, experiential event marketing, or related experience in strategic planning and execution of consumer marketing campaigns.
  • Proven record of developing and executing successful, fully-integrated large scale events with significant market and consumer impact while staying on-time and on-budget.
  • Strong understanding of promotional and experiential strategies and tactics to ensure feasibility of core ideas and to troubleshoot during execution.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
Pay Range:
$120,900-$217,650 USD
