Schedule Details:: We are looking for coverage on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons and evenings (Mondays are mandatory). Additional shifts for youth programs and special events may also be available as needed.

Calling all Dungeon Masters* and art enthusiasts! We're looking for a Part-Time Program Leader to join our team. In this role, you'll help lead youth recreational programs for children ages 9 and older. You'll guide immersive storytelling experiences, fostering teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity through our popular Youth Dungeons & Dragons Club. You'll also assist in the Teen Art Lounge and support other youth programs and events as needed.
*Experience with Dungeons & Dragons is a plus, but mastery is not required.

Essential Job Duties
What You'll Do in This Role:
  • Work directly with the Recreation Specialist and Program Coordinator to lead Youth Dungeons & Dragons Club player groups.
  • Assist with the registration of participants.
  • Lead weekly Youth Dungeons & Dragons sessions based on pre-written campaigns, guiding participants through campaigns and encouraging positive group dynamics.
  • Improvise based on player and group interests and creativity, prioritizing player growth and enjoyment.
  • Set up and clean up each session.
  • Communicate with parents and players to provide necessary information and updates.
  • Support other youth recreation events and programs, including the Teen Art Lounge

Minimum Qualifications
In addition to being at least 18 years of age, you have:
  • CPR/First Aide/AED certification, or the ability to get certified.
  • The ability to work with children and/or teens; experience in coaching, childcare, mentorship roles, or closely related experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of appropriate techniques for dealing with conflict resolution and disputes.
  • General knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons preferred.
