Position Purpose:
The General Manager, Nashville is responsible for leading and evolving the Gallagher business unit in Nashville as a core operational and commercial pillar within TAIT’s Global Touring division, while also supporting and strengthening TAIT’s broader on-site presence and operational ecosystem in the Nashville market.
 
This position is focused specifically on the leadership, integration, operational performance, and long-term growth of the Gallagher business itself—including staging, rentals, fabrication, production support, touring infrastructure, and related live event services. The role serves as the senior on-the-ground leader for the Nashville operation while also helping shape how Gallagher integrates and scales within the broader TAIT ecosystem.
 
This position combines operational leadership, business integration, commercial alignment, and cultural stewardship. The General Manager partners closely with Market Leadership and Gallagher sales and operational teams to ensure the business operates with clarity, accountability, scalability, and strong financial performance.
 
Key Responsibilities
 

Business Unit Leadership & Operational Oversight

  • Serve as the senior operational leader for Gallagher Nashville, overseeing day-to-day business performance across staging, rentals, fabrication, logistics, and production support functions.
  • Ensure operational excellence across project execution, inventory coordination, warehouse operations, staffing, scheduling, and delivery performance.
  • Translate enterprise priorities into actionable business unit execution plans.
  • Partner with leadership to define and evolve the long-term operating model for Gallagher within TAIT.

Business Integration & Organizational Alignment

  • Lead integration efforts between Gallagher Nashville and broader TAIT systems, processes, and operational frameworks.
  • Drive organizational clarity across reporting structures, workflows, responsibilities, and decision-making.
  • Partner closely with Finance, People, Legal, GTS, Operations, and Production teams to ensure alignment and consistency. 
  • Support implementation of enterprise initiatives including systems rollouts, operational process improvements, reporting structures, and cross-functional workflows.

Commercial & Financial Performance

  • Own operational and financial performance for the Gallagher Nashville business unit. 
  • Monitor and improve performance against revenue, margin, utilization, operational efficiency, and EBITDA targets. 
  • Partner with Portable Market Leaders and commercial teams to ensure operational readiness aligns with business growth. 
  • Support business development initiatives by ensuring the Nashville operation can scale effectively to support new opportunities

Operational Excellence & Scalable Systems

  • Establish and reinforce operational discipline across the business unit, including:
    • Workflow consistency 
    • Inventory management 
    • Logistics coordination 
    • Staffing models 
    • Production support systems 
  • Implement KPI frameworks and reporting rhythms that provide visibility into operational health and business performance. 
  • Identify and remove operational friction points that impact delivery quality, speed, or efficiency. 
  • Contribute to development of scalable operating models that can support future Gallagher expansion within TAIT

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the primary connector between Gallagher Nashville and TAIT shared services and leadership teams. 
  • Ensure alignment between commercial intent, operational capability, and delivery readiness. 
  • Break down silos between touring, rentals, fabrication, operations, and project delivery teams. 
  • Establish clear communication channels and predictable operating rhythms across functions.

Culture, Community & Team Leadership

  • Build and foster a strong, connected business culture aligned with TAIT values while preserving the strengths of the Gallagher identity. 
  • Serve as a visible, trusted leader for the Nashville team—promoting accountability, collaboration, clarity, and operational excellence. 
  • Partner with People leadership on organizational planning, role clarity, succession planning, and team development. 
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, office culture, onboarding, and local team connection.

Facilities, Safety & Shared Services Coordination

  • Maintain oversight of facility operations, workplace experience, and shared services coordination for the Nashville operation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Facilities, GTS, Safety, and building partners.
  • Ensure compliance with operational safety standards, emergency procedures, and workplace requirements.
  • Support planning and execution of facility improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and operational investments.

Strategic Planning & Growth Support

  • Provide operational insight and grounded business perspective to help inform broader strategy and Gallagher growth planning.
  • Support evaluation of adjacent opportunities, market expansion, and operational scaling initiatives.
  • Help shape repeatable frameworks for future Gallagher operating models across additional regions or business units.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Project Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.

Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in live events, staging, production operations, rentals, fabrication, touring infrastructure, or related operational environments. 
  • Demonstrated success leading complex operational teams and multi-functional business environments. 
  • Experience managing operational performance, financial targets, and organizational change. 
  • Strong understanding of live event production workflows, logistics, staffing, and operational planning. 
  • Experience in post-acquisition integration or organizational transformation environments, preferred.
