A Night Shift Software Test Engineer SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of software products, typically during overnight hours. Their work may involve creating test scripts, identifying bugs, collaborating with developers, and ensuring that software meets required standards before release. Working the night shift allows for continuous testing coverage, often supporting global teams or meeting tight deployment schedules.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a night shift software test engineer SDET?
