How you'll make an impact in this role
  • You will manage scheduling of patient appointments, ensuring clinical resources and patient time are used with maximum efficiency.
  • You will accurately capture demographic and insurance info to ensure a seamless checkout and billing experience.
  • You will resolve scheduling hurdles and provide clear, empathetic guidance to patients regarding their pre-service requirements.
  • You will support the insurance authorization process to ensure patients get the care they need without delays.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred. 
  • Experience scheduling patient appointments via phone and chat correspondence.
  • Experience taking high volume calls in a health-care setting.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems in a remote environment.
  • Experience with Athena, Epic, Dash, Genesys or Salesforce.
