Job description

What you'll do:

In this role, you will own the product roadmap for NinjaTrader's Core Platform, leading the Web and Mobile Squad to deliver best-in-class trading experiences across our web and mobile surfaces. You will drive the end-to-end product experience for traders of all levels, building advanced trading workflows while ensuring the platform is fast, elegant, and built around the needs of active traders. Your work will directly improve trader confidence, platform stickiness, and increase trading activity on our Core platforms.

In this role you will:

  • Drive the overall product roadmap for the Core Platform Web/Mobile Squad in collaboration with product leadership, engineering, and design, ensuring alignment with broader company strategy and goals
  • Define and sequence a coherent quarterly roadmap for web and mobile trading experiences that balances trader needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility
  • Own the end-to-end trader experience across web and mobile surfaces, from order entry and charting to account management and platform navigation by designing intuitive, high-performance interfaces that move traders forward with confidence
  • Partner closely with UX/design to uphold a high bar for interface quality, accessibility, and consistency across platforms
  • Serve as the voice of the trader, deeply understanding user behaviors, pain points, and goals through research and data, translating those insights into clear product decisions
  • Define and own Core Platform product metrics, using data to guide prioritization, measure feature impact, and drive continuous improvement across web and mobile surfaces

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years of experience managing web and/or mobile product experiences, preferably within a fintech or trading platform
  • Demonstrated experience building and shipping trading product experiences, with a strong understanding of trader workflows, order types, charting, and market data surfaces
  • Strong UI/UX sensibility with a track record of partnering with design to ship polished, high-quality consumer trading experiences
  • Proven ability to own and grow platform-level product lines at scale, balancing feature velocity with platform health
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide prioritization and product iteration and owning product metrics for funding initiatives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable owning large problem areas and operating in ambiguity
  • Team-first mentality with an ability to mentor peers and influence without authority

Bonus points for:

  • Deep domain expertise in trading platforms, brokerage products, or financial data products
  • Demonstrable experience launching products from 0 to 1 and scaling them

Compensation:

The salary range for this role will be $180,000 - $210,000 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 15%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).

Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 23 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.

Hybrid:

For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In addition to these weekly remote days, we offer:

  • 20 additional flex remote days annually
  • 5 Company Wide Office-Optional weeks tied to major holidays
