Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Email Marketing Manager based in Netherlands.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a high-impact email marketing channel within a growing digital learning and workplace compliance environment.
You will lead the execution and optimization of campaigns that engage prospects, customers, and partners throughout the buyer journey.
Working primarily in HubSpot, you will combine audience insights, experimentation, personalization, and performance analysis to improve marketing outcomes.
The position has a strong hands-on focus, covering campaign production, segmentation, quality assurance, testing, deployment, and reporting.
You will collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Marketing Operations, and Revenue Operations teams.
Your insights will help strengthen engagement, conversions, customer relationships, and pipeline contribution.
This is an ideal opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented marketer who enjoys experimentation and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities
  • Own end-to-end email marketing execution across prospect, customer, partner, and lifecycle communications.
  • Plan, build, launch, and optimize newsletters, nurture sequences, product announcements, customer communications, webinar promotions, event campaigns, and follow-up programs.
  • Manage audience selection, segmentation, quality assurance, scheduling, deployment, reporting, and A/B testing throughout the email production workflow.
  • Monitor deliverability, inbox performance, engagement, and adherence to email marketing best practices.
  • Develop and maintain an experimentation roadmap covering subject lines, preview text, calls-to-action, layouts, send times, personalization, dynamic content, copy length, imagery, and sending frequency.
  • Analyze campaign performance across audience segments, lifecycle stages, industries, personas, job titles, product interests, and behavioral engagement.
  • Translate performance data into actionable recommendations to improve click-through rates, conversions, engagement, and pipeline contribution.
  • Build and manage emails, landing pages, lists, campaign assets, and approved workflow executions within HubSpot.
  • Conduct thorough pre-launch quality assurance to ensure campaigns are accurate, relevant, timely, and aligned with objectives.
  • Support integrated marketing initiatives including webinars, virtual events, product launches, customer campaigns, and demand-generation programs.
  • Coordinate campaign schedules, tasks, and deliverables through Asana.
  • Present campaign trends, testing results, and optimization opportunities to marketing stakeholders.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to maintain accurate and reliable campaign reporting.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to improve email development, copy refinement, personalization, testing, reporting, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, campaign management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including creating emails, landing pages, forms, lists, campaigns, and related assets.
  • Experience using Asana for campaign or project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, segmentation, and audience management.
  • Proven experience designing and executing A/B testing programs and using results to drive optimization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights from campaign data.
  • Excellent copy editing and proofreading skills, combined with exceptional attention to detail and a strong quality-assurance mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional marketing teams and work full-time during U.S. business hours.
  • Practical experience using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, HubSpot AI, or similar solutions to improve marketing execution and productivity.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, lifecycle marketing, lead nurture programs, webinars, virtual events, or product launches is highly valued.
  • HubSpot Marketing Hub certification and familiarity with Salesforce CRM are advantageous.
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge for email adjustments and troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple personas, audience segments, and customer lifecycle stages is beneficial.
