Nevada Pic A Part is seeking a dependable and vigilant Night Security Guard to join our team. This role is responsible for patrolling and monitoring company facilities and assets after hours to ensure the safety, security, and cleanliness of the property. The security guard must remain active, alert, and vigilant throughout the shift, performing both security and operational tasks. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Pay: $14/hour

Hours: Full-time: 40 hours/week 

Shift Options: 4:00 PM-12:30 AM; 12:00 AM-8:30 AM: Weekday and Weekend shifts

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to adhering to assigned schedules, including stepping in to cover shifts or patrols as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness, with the ability to quickly identify and respond to potential security risks
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, patrolling, bending, lifting, and carrying items for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to operate assigned equipment and company vehicles safely and responsibly
  • Honest, ethical, and sound judgment in all situations
  • Prior security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 


  •  Perform yard maintenance, including parking lot clean-up, putting away carts, lifting vehicle parts, and cleaning oil spills with   quick-dry materials
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property, including vehicle storage areas, towing equipment, and office facilities, to deter and detect unauthorized activity
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, responding promptly to potential threats or system alerts
  • Enforce company security protocols to secure gates, fences, entry points, and buildings during non-operational hours
  • Respond immediately to security breaches, break-ins, trespassing, or vandalism in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency services during incidents, providing detailed reports and supporting investigations
  • Verify employees, contractors, and drivers entering or exiting after hours, ensuring proper identification and compliance with logging procedures
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations
  • Safeguard and properly maintain all company equipment assigned for security operations
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
