What makes this a great opportunity?

This role as part of the North America Finance Team is to partner with the Regional General Manager for the East region to manage and grow the business profitably and drive continuous business improvement. Be a key business partner and primary point person for the regional sales management team for fact-based business analysis and decision support. Build relationships with field sales teams and understanding of local markets and drive insights critical to business growth. Establish and promote the utilization of streamlined and uniform analytical and reporting processes across the region.

It allows for a large degree of exposure to high-level executives as well as a dynamic workload. This position allows an individual to really be a part of the team! A few highlights include:

  • Partner with Regional General Sales Manager for the East Region to provide primary financial support (high visibility role).ย 
  • Provide key business and financial analytics to support critical local planning and business decisions.ย 
  • Support various monthly business review processes across finance, commercial business operations, and local sales teams to drive results.
  • Drive improvements in Brand Investment planning, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support the North America CFO by driving improved brand investment and forecast processes to feed the S&OP process.
  • Financial custodianship to maintain a well-controlled and compliant environment and proper risk management.
  • Be a key business partner and primary point person for the North America team for fact-based business analysis and decision support.
  • Build relationships and understanding for your respective regions and drive insights critical to business growth. Establish and promote the utilization of streamlined and uniform analytical and reporting processes.
  • Support the monthly business review process.
  • Analyze Nielsen and NABCA brand, category, chain and general market retail performance, and competitive supplier trends to identify areas of opportunity and focus to be leveraged by the Commercial Sales team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance or Business Administration. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 10+ years of financial and/or sales analysis experience.
  • Experience with consumer products in one of the following preferred: Spirits, Beer, Wine, Beverage, and Foods categories.
  • Must be able to build proficiency in the following systems: Business Objects, Aperity, Vistaar, AC Nielsen AOD.
  • Ability to extract, manipulate, mine, and analyze data for key insights.
  • Ability to conceptualize and think creatively.
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and computer skills are a must.
  • Excellent communication and personal skills desired. Develop and maintain cross-functional and key working relationships within the organization.
  • 20%-30% travel required.

The salary range for this role, based in Chicago, is $160k,000-$200,000, along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate's location, experience, and skillset. The range will vary if outside of this location.
