Job description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU/Pediatric experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract in a university hospital NICU setting.
Job Details
• NICU unit at a university medical center,
• Night shift: 7pm-7am, 3x12-hour shifts per week,
• NICU and pediatric patient population,
• Floating to other units is required,
• Every other weekend (EOW) work required,
• Must be available to work at least 50% of holidays during the contract,
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required,
• 13-week contract,
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with at least 1 year in NICU or pediatrics,
• NICU and/or pediatric experience required,
• Current certifications: PALS and NRP (candidates with one in hand and one pending may be considered),
• Active MO or Compact RRT license required at time of consideration,
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing 20 lbs or more, with or without reasonable accommodation,
• 2 references required for consideration,
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration,
• License required if applicable,
Additional Information
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible; candidates within 75 miles may be considered at a reduced pay rate,
• Position operates in a 24/7 healthcare environment; rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and availability during inclement weather are expected,
