American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a critical need position in Oakland, CA, requiring Level III NICU experience and an active CA RN license.
Job Details
• Night shift position: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts),
• 36 hours per week,
• Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting,
• 13-week contract,
• Uses Epic EMR,
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates,
Job Requirements
• Active CA RN license required - pending licensure not accepted,
• Current certifications required: BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP),
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent NICU experience (within the last 3 years),
• Level III NICU experience required,
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program,
• Active certifications at time of consideration - pending certifications not accepted,
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration,
• BSN or related degree preferred,
• 7 years of recent Level III NICU experience (within the last 10 years) preferred,
Additional Information
• Candidates who have worked at this health system may not exceed two cumulative years of assignment without a 90-day consecutive break, regardless of continuity or gaps of less than three months
