Registered Nurse – NICU Transport

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12s (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Job Summary
 

Seeking an experienced NICU Transport Registered Nurse to provide specialized neonatal and pediatric critical care transport services. The ideal candidate will have extensive NICU experience, strong pediatric assessment skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality care during ground and/or air transport of critically ill neonates and pediatric patients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2,000 hours of NICU experience required
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred
  • No travel experience required
  • Experience caring for neonatal and pediatric critical care patients

  • Provide safe transport of neonatal and pediatric patients requiring higher levels of care.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring during transport.
  • Administer medications and therapies according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams during transport missions.
  • Manage emergency situations and rapidly changing patient conditions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to patient safety standards.
