Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead our skilled nursing facility in Urbandale, Iowa. Position Overview
The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership and management of facility operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while promoting outstanding clinical outcomes, resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
โข Oversee all day-to-day operations of the facility
โข Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
โข Maintain survey readiness and lead successful state and federal inspections
โข Manage budgeting, financial planning, and operational performance initiatives
โข Support and develop department leaders to achieve facility goals
โข Promote a culture of quality care, resident satisfaction, and customer service excellence
โข Collaborate with physicians, consultants, and healthcare partners to support clinical programs and outcomes
โข Implement and monitor facility policies, procedures, and performance standards
โข Lead recruitment, retention, employee engagement, and leadership development efforts
โข Foster a positive, resident-centered environment for residents, families, and staff
โข Ensure the facility maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere
โข Drive census growth and strengthen community relationships
Qualifications
โข Active Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing required
โข Minimum of two (2) years of Nursing Home Administrator experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
โข Strong leadership, team-building, and staff development skills
โข Thorough knowledge of Iowa and federal long-term care regulations
โข Experience with budgeting, financial management, and operational oversight
โข Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
โข Demonstrated commitment to quality care and resident satisfaction
