Duties
Help
  • Manages, schedules and executes work to accomplish banquet events. Creates room diagrams for planned events.
  • Assigns work to subordinate staff in setting up of attractive, creative, and imaginative buffet tables and ensures duties are completed as required within budget parameters for event.
  • Performs client contact during functions, monitors satisfaction, last minute changes and special requests; reports all pertinent information to the supervisor and recommends operational improvements as necessary for future events.
  • Performs the full range of supervisory functions to include hiring, training, performance evaluation, recommends reward and recognition, discipline, work and leave schedules.
  • Oversight of catering fleet of vehicles.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
1. One year of work experience directly related to the duties described above with Banquets, Special Events, Administrative duties and Customer Service.
2. Supervisory experience is required.
3. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
1. Prior experience in Hospitality, Restaurants or Catering.
The experience must be reflected on your resume at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate.
