Job description

As part of that investment, we are excited to add an AI Automation Specialist to our Operations Implementation team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on designing, building, and deploying AI-powered communication agents. You will work directly with customers to translate their needs into practical AI solutions while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, technically inclined, comfortable working with customers, and excited to grow their skills in AI and automation.
Work Locations:
This is a hybrid position based out of one of the following office locations: Grand Rapids or Blue Bell with an expectation of 2 days per week in the office. This position must live and be authorized to work in the United States; it is not eligible for relocation or sponsorship.
Hours:
8AM - 5PM EST time
Travel:
Approximately 5% travel, primarily for training purposes.
What You Will Do:
  • Work directly with customers to understand their communication automation needs and translate requirements into AI agent configurations.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy AI-powered communication agents using BCM One's AI platforms.
  • Create and refine prompts to ensure AI agents deliver accurate, helpful, and brand-appropriate responses.
  • Conduct customer training sessions and create clear documentation to support adoption and ongoing use.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation and post-deployment.
  • Build and contribute to a library of reusable AI templates and best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings, share learnings, and support continuous improvement of AI implementation processes.

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. Recent graduates are welcome.
  • Experience configuring AI agents, chatbots, or automation workflows, through professional, academic, internship, or personal projects.
  • Basic understanding of AI and natural language processing concepts and how they impact customer experience.
  • Strong written communication skills, especially in creating clear and effective AI prompts.
  • Comfort working directly with customers and explaining technical concepts in simple, approachable terms.
  • Curiosity and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and troubleshoot issues independently.
  • A self-starter mindset with strong ownership of tasks from start to finish.
