mxdwn is an online music and entertainment magazine with news, reviews and features about the latest and best in modern entertainment.

Please Note: This is an unpaid internship.
In this position you'll take 1 shift per week. (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday). Each shift you'll write five stories of 300-500 words. You'll be sent your stories around noon on the day you write (or on Friday for weekend writers, if preferred). Weekend writers who have their stories sent on Friday are able to start their stories on Friday and either save a draft or schedule the stories for the day they're assigned (ideally spacing them out throughout the morning of that day if scheduling them). They can also work on the stories the day of, so long as they're published by midnight that night.
*Note: We are currently only looking to fill our Saturday slot

Prior experience preferred, not required.
