Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Captain to join the team in our fine-dining room, Aurelia.

Residing inside the historic Agassiz Mansion at Castle Hill Inn, The Forbes and Relais & Chateaux restaurant Aurelia is the next evolution in Castle Hill’s culinary journey – one that has been lauded as one of the best dining experiences in New England. About the Position: In the  Captain Role, you will provide high-quality customer service to our dining room guests.

About You: You are passionate, energetic and to whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate service responsibilities of support roles
  • Coordinate beverage pairings with Sommelier
  • Consistently gauges level of guest satisfaction through table maintenance and dialogue with the guest
  • Communicate effectively with guests and other team members to ensure timing standards are maintained
  • Possess a complete understanding of all culinary and beverage descriptions
  • Coordinate setup in dining rooms for Aurelia service
  • Complete Daily Side work as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience with banquet service and set-up required minimum 2 seasons
  • Prior leadership experience preferred, any industry
  • Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
