Product Engineer

Job Description:

The Product Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the Product Development team in Ann Arbor, Michigan to release products into manufacture and then maintain them through the product life cycle.ย  The includes establishing test plans and ensuring that product flow and test methods are documented appropriately as well as identifying and implementing yield improvements and cost reductions. This person will work with internal and offshore test facilities to release products to production.ย ย A strong semiconductor product characterization and test background and the ability to collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines at different geographical location worldwide are essential to the success of this position.

Responsibilities:

  • New Product Introduction - responsible for product life cycle management.
  • Understand contributors to highest level in product quality, cost and drive cost reductions
  • Manage test house qualifications and yield improvements.
  • Characterization ATE and probe data analysis.
  • Creating and managing product documentation.
  • Identifying and managing continuous improvement and yield improvement activities.
  • Manage Engineering Change Order and Product Change Notification processes for released products.
  • Providing product development support which involves interfacing with Design, Test, Application, Qualityย Engineering.
