Job description

A globally prominent and highly reputable industrial manufacturing organization is seeking to hire an Engineering Manager - New Product Introduction within a complex manufacturing operation. Reporting to GM/Site Director, this individual will be responsible for driving the successful launch of new products, managing engineering resources, and ensuring alignment to customer requirements, cost targets, and production readiness. The Engineering Manager will partner closely with Operations, Program Management, and Commercial teams to deliver new programs on time, within budget, and in support of broader business objectives.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the NPI Engineering function, ensuring successful execution of new product launches aligned to timeline, cost, and performance targets
  • Direct, develop, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and growth-oriented culture
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to advance technical capabilities and ensure alignment with design, quality, and manufacturability requirements
  • Drive accurate cost estimation and quoting activities, including material, labor, and scrap assumptions for new programs
  • Oversee the transition of new products into production, including run-at-rate analysis, process validation, and readiness for full-scale manufacturing
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cost reduction, and process optimization across new and existing products
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Operations, Program Management, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of NPI programs


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, or related) from an accredited institution
  • 7+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, including new product introduction or product launch experience
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership capabilities
  • U.S. person status required (citizen or permanent resident).
