Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems. In this role you will own the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on Windchill integration experience and a strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, and PLM-to-ERP data flows. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners - product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders - to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Five or more years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill.

  • Hands-on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java API.

  • Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle).

  • Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns.

  • Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.

  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data model.

  • Experience with REST and SOAP web services.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PTC Windchill certifications.

  • Experience with ThingWorx or IIoT integration.

  • Exposure to API management platforms.

  • Familiarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patterns.

  • Experience operating Windchill in the cloud.
