HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provides the leadership to develop and execute plans to drive the development of platform and product category strategies/roadmaps and successful global commercialization of product solutions and technologies to support the delivery of defined business objectives. Manage the global marketing functions as they relate to assigned product lines and meet/exceed business plan strategic and financial objectives. Drive new product development and business development functions for Trauma.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develops, implements and monitors platform and product category strategies and tactics to achieve

       established financial goals. Scope includes assessment of market trends, customer needs, clinical

and reimbursement trends, site of care considerations, global competitive landscape, and internal

operational efficiencies.

  • Develops and delivers effective market development strategies and programs for building the Franchise business for LifeNet Health, inclusive of training, educational, and promotional activities for

product/clinical applications with direct and OEM/Alliance partner, sales force personnel, surgeons and

supporting clinical staff, as well as contracting personnel at GPOs, Affiliates, RPCs, IDNs, Hospitals,

and other identified sites of care.

  • Establishes and manages relationships with key opinion leaders to drive product development and

launch activities, clinical pipeline, reimbursement strategies, field training initiatives, and market

awareness related to the assigned Franchise.

  • Manages all sector commercialization projects within platform including growth, cost

containment/reduction, quality, and sourcing projects to ensure business objectives are achieved

  • Develops and nurtures Alliance/OEM partner relationships to drive new product development and

global distribution performance to include; education, training, business agreements and strategic

marketing plans. Trains and mentors Associate and Product Managers within franchise. Depending on

franchise, this position may manage one or more persons.

  • Implements pricing and product offering strategies based on customer needs and processing feasibility
  • Implements marketing strategy and executes against marketing plan, including coordination of global launches with internal and external stakeholders. Works with cross functional teams to develop accurate annual franchise forecasts and market demand, evaluate market changes and execute LEAN process improvements.
  • Works closely with R&D teams to support new product development and launch efforts. This includes validating new product design, functionality and clinical applications with customers and the direct field sales organization and/or OEM/Alliance partners as well as developing marketing and sales plans.
  • Creates and delivers presentations to executive-level decision makers to gain approval for franchise strategies, goals, and objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA); bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of 7 years in product marketing experience in medical device marketing or other healthcare field
  • Minimum of 4 years in development and market introduction of new products. Must have experience of a formal product design process based on the ‘stage gate’ concept.

Preferred/Skills/Certification:

  • 4 years of experience in specific field, ideally within the broadly defined field (e.g. allografts;

Biologics, orthopedics, sports medicine, wound/reconstructive surgery, spine or trauma environments.) within a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical related organization

  • 3 years of experience managing direct reports
  • 2 years of experience in International Marketing

 Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to influence without authority
