Job description

Position: Embedded C Program Developer
Location: Beltsville MD
Assignment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $60 - $62 / year
Work Schedule: Onsite, Beltsville MD
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
This is a project-based contract role where the developer will work directly alongside the Director of Engineering and the co-founder/owner of the company. You won't be buried in a large org your contributions will be visible and meaningful from day one.
The Developer will support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and resolving embedded software and hardware issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and assisting in developing methods and procedures to control or modify electronics performance. Final device testing and full documentation of all work are core deliverables.
Required Technical Skills:
โ€ข Embedded C Programming - hands-on working experience required
โ€ข STM32CubeIDE and STM32CubeMX platforms
โ€ข STM32 Microcontroller programming
โ€ข Communication protocols: I2C, RS485, RS232
โ€ข Nextion HMI Programming
โ€ข Hands-on function test debugging, rework, and quality testing on proprietary PCB components and subassemblies
โ€ข Git and GitLab for version control and project documentation
Requirements:
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
โ€ข Minimum 2 years of hands-on relevant work experience - this is not a new grad or entry-level role
