Manufacturing EngineerA Manufacturing Engineer would be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the manufacturing processes. Ensuring the production of restroom trailers and related products are done safely, effectively, and efficiently. While implementing cost saving initiatives and maintaining quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement and test current and new product linesAnalyze existing systems and processes to identify value-added and non-value-added activities to help solve design challengesIdentify opportunities for preventing waste and inefficiencies during productionManage engineering projects in a timely manner and through the life of the projectUtilizes engineering principles and methods to designs to ensure the safety, reliability, efficiency, and quality of productsPrepare and review technical specifications, drawings, calculations, reports, and documentationCollaborate with other engineers, managers and production workers, and outside personnel to design and apply new systems and processes while providing technical support and guidanceInvestigate and troubleshoot system failures, malfunctions, defects, or complaintsPerforms extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, quality, and safety standardsConducts and analysis research while studying new technologies to innovate and design solutions or productsComply with all applicable codes, standards, regulations, and policiesQualifications:

Education:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related fieldExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle and/or trailer designCertifications: SolidWorks and Lean six sigma would be a plusTechnical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and electrical systemsMS Office experience, preferred knowledge of Sage XProblem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and practical solutionsCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearlyAttention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of design and documentationTeam Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentSelf-discipline: Willingness to learn and flexibility required, with the ability to work independentlyPhysical Demands: The associate may lift and/or move up 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Stand and walk for long periods of time.

Must Have: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle and/or trailer design.

Working knowledge in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and electrical systemsMS Office experience.

Experience in all aspects of design and documentation.
