Applies foundation of a function's principles, theories, and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
Responsibilities:
  • Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools
  • Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
  • Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
  • Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
  • Apply security expertise to build highly secure products for our customers

Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Exposure in building solutions from the ground up.
  • Proficient in multiple software development tools and languages, with a strong focus on programming with either C/C++, C#, .NetCore, WPF, XAML, React JS and Cloud technologies.
  • Exposure with unit testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of Agile principles needed and experience working in tools like ADO.
  • Understanding of design for software applications running on multiple platform such as Windows and Cloud.
  • Good knowledge of the Windows registry, Certificates, file and folder security, local/domain user security and general operating system
  • Hands on knowledge on Windows programming (multi-threading, sockets, etc.) and Windows application development
  • Skilled in Troubleshooting and resolving complex Application issues
  • Self-starter with desire to work across a variety of technology stack and challenges
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Exposure Design patterns, SOLID and Object Oriented Principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals

Preferred :
  • Prior knowledge with software security principles and cryptography will be preferred

Plus:
  • Experience working with Python, Django, GO / Rust, Xamarin and Mobile app development
  • Some knowledge of the following technologies: WMI, COM, networking, concurrency, databases, code optimization/performance testing
  • Understanding of microservices architecture
  • Experience developing responsive web applications using JS Frameworks, HTML5, CSS
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes or k3s
  • Experience in successful delivery for products to the market

The base pay range for this role is $91,050 to $119,542 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
