New Dimensions Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our expanding team. This full-time position is designed for professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional mental health care from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients to identify their mental health needs effectively.
  • Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that cater to the unique goals of each client.
  • Provide individual, couples, and group counseling using various therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
  • Engage in case management by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure that all aspects of client care are integrated and holistic.
  • Maintain up-to-date, confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing our secure electronic health record system.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices in the field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, requiring an adaptable approach to meet their specific needs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping these individuals navigate their emotional struggles and achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field with a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in providing therapy in a mental health setting, demonstrating a proven ability to conduct effective therapy sessions.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a commitment to utilizing best practices in treatment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from a range of life experiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document client interactions clearly and accurately.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year is required, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapies, such as trauma-informed care or addiction counseling, will be viewed favorably. Experience in telehealth counseling is also considered an added benefit.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 50,000 to 80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
