Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst (SAP Cost Module). This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Santa Ana, CA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $80/hr - $90/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the Cost Workstream Lead throughout the SAP ERP implementation lifecycle.
  • Document and maintain current-state and future-state business processes across Strategic Sourcing, Direct Procurement, Cost Operations, Hyperscaler Operations, Supplier Management, Supplier Collaboration, Spend Analytics, and Contract Lifecycle Management.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from Business Process Owners (BPOs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and key stakeholders.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, process reviews, and solution validation sessions to align business needs with SAP solutions.
  • Collaborate with SAP functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurately translated into solution designs.
  • Review proposed solutions to identify process gaps, risks, dependencies, and business impacts.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, business process flows, business scenarios, and testing artifacts.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test script development, execution support, defect tracking and resolution using Jira/XRay, and test status reporting.
  • Validate solution functionality to ensure approved designs are thoroughly tested prior to deployment.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and migration activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of supplier, procurement, sourcing, contract, and spend data.
  • Track action items, risks, issues, and dependencies across the Cost workstream.
  • Support business readiness activities, including process documentation, training support, go-live planning, deployment, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Assist Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with the adoption of new business processes and SAP system capabilities.


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • Experience supporting SAP ERP implementations, business transformation, or supply chain initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, including Strategic Sourcing, Direct Procurement, Supplier Management, Supplier Collaboration, Spend Analytics, Contract Lifecycle Management, Cost Operations, and Hyperscaler Operations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and cost management processes.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements and business process documentation.
  • Hands-on experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, defect management, and test execution.
  • Experience performing data validation, reconciliation, and supporting data migration activities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Business Process Owners (BPOs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), IT teams, SAP functional consultants, and implementation partners.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Jira, XRay, or other ERP and procurement platforms is preferred.
  • Experience within high-tech manufacturing, electronics, networking, semiconductor, or data storage industries is a plus.
