We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated full-time New Business Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in delivering a seamless and positive onboarding experience for our new clients. You will collaborate closely with financial advisors and internal support teams to facilitate the end-to-end account opening process, ensure all client documentation is accurate and complete, and maintain the highest standards of compliance and service excellence.
What You’ll Do:
  • Deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new clients, ensuring personalized attention and exceptional service at every step
  • Complete and process new client applications to include Annuities, Life Insurance and AUM
  • Oversee Advisor’s licensing and appointment for state and carrier. Ensure product training complete.
  • Create appropriate client file for each new account
  • Meet with prospects and/or clients for paperwork processing/signage
  • Resolve any issues regarding new accounts and transfers
  • Conduct rollover calls with clients and complete proper ERISA paperwork
  • Follow up on pending new business with the appropriate companies and call each individual client with an update
  • Daily monitoring of incoming monies and securities
  • Track all pending AUM, Annuity and Life applications from start to issue by using the BML Pending Business Tracker
  • Manually add insurance accounts to Redtail (life and annuities)
  • Maintain an organized, compliant and efficient electronic filing system
  • Assist clients with policy questions, issues, and concerns, providing excellent customer service
  • Accurately record notes and outcomes from client interactions in Redtail
  • Provide support at off-site seminars amp; events
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in the financial industry
  • Demonstrates proficiency and confidence working across various platforms and operating systems, Microsoft Office and CRM (Redtail)
  • Collaborative team player willing to assist others
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written delivered with a sincere and caring attitude
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills by efficiently managing multiple client requests and prioritizing time sensitive tasks
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Skilled in building strong, trust-based relationships with clients by providing attentive, personalized service and guidance
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently
  • Demonstrates strong integrity and a commitment to ethical conduct, especially when handling confidential client information and financial matters
  • Thrive in a “time sensitive” environment and adaptable to change without affecting the quality of work
