Join our team as a New Account Specialist and help our members fulfill their dreams!
Primary work location will be Stevens Point following a training period in Merrill.
At Park City Credit Union, our mission is to help our members fulfill their dreams while serving our communities. As a New Account Specialist, you will serve as a trusted financial partner by helping members open and maintain accounts, understand available products and services, and receive prompt, accurate, and professional service.
This sales-oriented, member-facing position plays an important role in building strong member relationships through the account opening and servicing process. The New Account Specialist conducts financial conversations with members to better understand their needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services. This role also supports member engagement by promoting e-services, expanding member relationships, and delivering Raving Fan service with every member and co-worker interaction.
The New Account Specialist is responsible for opening new accounts and memberships, including personal, business, and specialty accounts; performing account maintenance; assisting with debit card items; supporting in-person member requests; and providing backup support to the teller line as needed. This position also helps resolve member questions, concerns, and complex account needs while maintaining strong knowledge of Park City Credit Union's products, services, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
We are seeking an individual who is professional, service-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable recommending products and services based on member needs. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, supporting team success, and creating positive experiences for members.

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members and co-workers.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to recommend credit union products and services based on member needs.
  • Basic mathematical skills and technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work through member questions, concerns, and service needs.
