Job Description

The Associate Director of Neuroscience Commercial Strategy - Corporate Business Strategy Office (CBSO)will help drive commercial & market innovation strategy and business operations projects across the Neuroscience business, which includes Psychiatry, Migraine, Parkinsonโ€™s Disease, and BOTOX Therapeutics.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Director and VP-level stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and solve mission-critical business challenges to advance the Neuroscience franchise through structured problem-solving and data-driven insights
  • Drive key commercial on-market strategic initiatives to maximize patient impact and growth of in-line brands
  • Work with brand teams to lead the development of launch strategy for launch-ready products
  • Execute opportunities to drive operational effectiveness within and across business units with key cross-functional partners, e.g., Finance and HR
  • Lead development of business and operational reviews to senior Commercial and Executive leadership

This position will foster positive working relationships and be highly collaborative with each franchise brand teams, Finance, Medical, R&D, Market Access, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Market Analytics and Business Insights (MABI), Sales Training, Sales Force Effectiveness, Regulatory, Customer Experience, and other cross franchise teams to gain input into developing strategic and operational projects. The Associate Director must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Identify/scope key strategic initiatives
  • Lead project execution end to end
  • Influence without authority, while building a collaborative and integrated approach across the organization

This position reports to the Director, Neuroscience Commercial Strategy - Corporate Business Strategy Office and will support data analytical execution, creating strong narratives on insights and communication with key stakeholders and executive leadership.

Qualifications

Education and experience:

  • BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred
  • At least 5-7 years of professional industry experience with a successful track record in management consulting (at least 2+ years), pipeline management, or pharmaceutical marketing with strong analytical and strategic marketing skills.
  • Previous experience in pharma R&D, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management, and/or Marketing
  • Understanding and experience with Neuroscience products both inline and in development preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills across a variety of organization levels and disciplines, including senior executives
