Job description

Role Summary
The Neuvera Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care and treatment, expert EEG interpretation, and second-opinion review services. This role includes direct oversight of EEG technologists and nursing staff, ensuring high-quality diagnostic and treatment workflows and adherence to clinical standards. The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced neurology clinic.
Primary Job Duties (Clinical & Diagnostic)
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits
  • Provide ongoing neurological care and TMS treatments
  • Interpret routine and ambulatory EEG studies
  • Provide TMS treatment plans for neurological conditions
  • Provide written reports with clear clinical impressions and actionable recommendations
  • Deliver second-opinion EEG interpretations for external referring providers as required
  • Participate in case conferences with other Neuvera Clinics
  • Communicate findings to referring physicians, patients, and care teams in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and complete documentation in the EMR
  • Support development of EEG protocols, quality standards, and clinical workflows
  • Stay current with advancements in neurology, epilepsy, and neurodiagnostic technology
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in a clinical environment
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and high diagnostic accuracy
Clinical Oversight & Collaboration
  • Supervise EEG technologists performing routine and advanced EEG procedures
  • Conduct TMS treatments
  • Oversee nursing staff involved in patient preparation, safety monitoring, TMS treatments and follow-up
  • Ensure adherence to clinical quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance on artifact reduction, montage selection, and acquisition quality for EEG studies
  • Review and approve technologist notes, annotations, and preliminary observations
  • Establish and maintain escalation pathways for abnormal or urgent EEG findings
  • Collaborate with clinic leadership to optimize scheduling, workflow, and patient throughput
  • Support continuing education and competency development for technical staff
Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO with board certification in Neurology or Psychiatry
  • Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy strongly preferred
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in good standing (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in EEG interpretation across all major modalities
  • Experience supervising medical staff, nursing staff, and/or EEG technologists preferred
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Attributes
  • BCIA Neurofeedback Certification from BCIA
  • QEEG-T/QEEG-D Credential from IQCB
  • PULSES Certification from the Clinical TMS Society
  • Experience with digital EEG platforms and remote review workflows
  • Experience with device specific TMS systems (advanced TMS training, deep TMS, neuronavigation)
  • Familiarity with quality assurance programs and accreditation standards
  • Interest in teaching, mentoring, or developing clinical protocols
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining clinical precision
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Professional and solutions-oriented approach when interacting with patients and colleagues

Schedule & Compensation
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Part Time or Full Time)
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly/salary rate based on experience

Annual Salary
  • Expected base salary range: $300,000 - $400,000 annually
  • Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location
