Your Role:

  • Licensed Therapist Required: You must be a fully licensed therapist to qualify for this position
  • Evening Hours: The position requires evenings.
    • In-Person, Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Purpose of Your Role

The Clinician l supports and ensures the IOP team and clients function safely, effectively, and efficiently to promote the best quality and output standards. They support specific department task completion, communication, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and time and priority management. They collaborate with the team to ensure the maintenance of treatment fidelity, company policy and procedure, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a team player, who is open to feedback, willing to take initiative to learn specialized treatment, and is not afraid to fail.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides validation in a warm, safe environment and keeps clients motivated to work through distress and eliminate neutralizing behaviors. Engages with clients through clinical interactions, interventions and development of skills
  • Works closely with direct manager and the treatment team to adhere to programming and operations. Engaging in communication and problem solving with all members of the treatment team. Specifically, client scheduling needs and supporting the Behavioral Health Technicians team with treatment concerns, including but not limited to interventions and customer service issues
  • Maintains all written documentation such as progress notes, group therapy notes, for clients based on the current corporate designated caseload capacity and actively participates in creating high client satisfaction in treatment and managing potential grievances
  • Oversees the psychotherapeutic intervention provided to a client during treatment for OCD and other mental health disorders, including case conceptualization, development of treatment plan, maintains a skillful and organized IOP, records comprehensive documentation, crisis planning and management. May also perform mental health assessments and on an on-going basis will monitor for differential diagnosis
  • Plans, organizes, implements and runs lesson plans for group settings, treatment, coordination of treatment, individual psychotherapy with the facility's evidence- based protocol for clients of all ages.
  • Proficient in utilizing de-escalation techniques, crisis planning, and management
  • Takes an active role in supporting and modeling TOATC business processes that are both current and in development while supporting and cultivating a positive culture on their team
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

The Skills and Expertise You Have:

  • Master's degree or higher in social work, clinical mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, Pd.D, Psy.D.
  • Current and unrestricted state licensure
  • Presents self in a professional manner
  • Must be punctual and maintain excellent attendance
  • Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, and completes job responsibilities independently
  • Multitask, problem-solve, interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives in a changing work environment and demonstrates flexibility
  • Accurate and efficient electronic data entry
  • Proficient knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software
  • Physical demands of the job include sitting at a desk or table for extended periods, bending, lifting, and walking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in mental health position
  • OCD and anxiety experience
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy experience
