New graduates have the opportunity to participate in our mandatory residency program, which includes monthly seminars led by the Nurse Residency Team, peer-to-peer debriefing sessions, support groups/mentoring, and rounding. The Nurse Residency Program is an added benefit designed to support your transition into practice

Responsibilities:

The Neuro Step Down Unit is hiring a nurse (RN) to join their dedicated team of high-performing nurses that provide exceptional patient care within their 29-bed unit. This unit is highly specialized neurology Step-Down, dedicated to the special care required for patients who are recovering from neurosurgery, or neurological injuries - to include psych patients. Joint Commission-Accredited Primary Step-Down.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate Degree: Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred

  • Registered Nurse-NM License

  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License Academic Preparation:

  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
