Job Description

The IT Level 2 Technician is responsible for providing technical expertise and troubleshooting services to clients in a fast-paced, customer-oriented IT environment. This role requires front-line customer service and technical support, as well as in-depth knowledge of IT hardware and software. Workplace is Lansing MI servicing clients in mid-Michigan.

Skill Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT system administration, technical support, or network support.
  • A+ Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
  • Knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, routers, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate (both verbally and in writing) technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Must be highly organized, a self-starter, independent worker, and aggressive in achieving results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing Tier 2 technical support and diagnostics to troubleshoot, install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms.

  • Collaborate with other technology team members to meet customer expectations and deliver quality service.
  • Assist in developing and updating documentation for technical support procedures.
  • Assist in the creation of network documentation.
