Optim Health System is seeking a full time Sr. Network Administrator for our Savannah location.

Job Title: Sr. Network Administrator

Department: Information Technology

Immediate Supervisor Title: IT Director

Senior Network Administrator

· Design, plan, and implement network infrastructure, including hardware (servers, routers, switches, firewalls), software, and physical cabling.

· Implement and enforce network security policies, configure firewalls, and access controls, and monitor for security threats.

· Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, often working with other IT teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.

· Monitor network performance, analyze data, and implement changes to improve efficiency and availability.

· Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures

· Interact with vendors for hardware and software procurement, support, and maintenance.

· Maintain Data Centers and server backups and data migrations

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), operating systems (Windows Server, Linux), and network monitoring tools

· Server Administration that includes configuration, management, and maintenance of:

o Windows Environment

o Physical servers

o AD Authentication and Security

o VMWare Management

o Citrix environment

o Window updates and patching

· Network Administration that includes configuration, management, and maintenance of:

o LAN, WAN, WLANs

o VPN configuration

o Watchguard firewalls

o Unifi and Dell switches

o Unifi wireless controllers and cameras

· Data Center configuration and monitoring of:

o Pure Storage SAN solutions

o Equallogic SAN storage
