Job description

Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Network Engineer (NE) experienced in installing and supporting critical infrastructure in support Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). Our SecureView (SV) team is responsible for successfully fielding software and systems that provide secure access to cross-domain virtualized desktop machines. This individual will administer the SecureView Management Server (SVMS), image cross-domain workstations, laptops and other end point machines, migrating user profile, and deploying the devices to an extensive PACAF user base. The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks with conflicting priorities in a team environment. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience OR an Associate's degree / Major Certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience OR 11 years of recent specialized experience * Security+ or CISSP certification * Network+, CCNA, or comparable DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification * Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strong written and verbal communication skills * Virtual private networking knowledge and experience - for example Cisco VPN * Robust troubleshooting skills * Strong customer service skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Demonstrated Virtualization experience - eg. VMWare, Citrix, Xen * Citrix hypervisor engineering (XenServer) experience * VDI (VMWare Horizon View or Citrix XenDesktop) engineering and support experience * Recognized certification such as Microsoft Certified Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, VMware Certified Professional - End-User Computing * Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
