Job Summary:
Foxconn Industrial Internet (FII) is seeking a Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to contribute to a 24x7 Network Operations Center ensuring the availability and performance of enterprise IT services. The role involves monitoring network infrastructure, managing incidents, and coordinating with facility teams during service-impacting events.
Responsibilities:
• Perform real-time monitoring, analyzing and isolation of network infrastructure (WAN/LAN, backbone, SD-WAN, VPN). Along with systems and cloud environments, data center infrastructure and critical applications identified via alarm surveillance.
• Demonstrate discipline, urgency and attentiveness in responding to alarms and incidents.
• Perform incident lifecycle management (detection → triage → escalation → resolution) through trouble ticket system.
• Responsible for detailed documentation of trouble tickets and internal communications.
• Monitor and correlate IT alerts with data center facility conditions, including: Power systems (UPS, PDU, redundancy, power events), HVAC and cooling systems (temperature, humidity, capacity), Physical security and access control, Fire detection and suppression systems.
• Coordinate with facility teams during incidents impacting IT services.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Good understanding of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN)
• Good understanding of systems and infrastructure (Windows, M365, Linux, virtualization, cloud)
• Familiar with Cisco equipment
• Familiar with cyber security functions
• Basic understanding of data center facilities management including power systems (UPS, redundancy, power distribution, PUE awareness)
• Basic understanding of HVAC and environmental controls (temperature, humidity, cooling capacity)
• Basic understanding of physical security and fire protection systems
• Familiar with IT service management processes and tools
• Discipline and attention to detail is highly required
