Job Title : Cisco Engineer

Duration : 7+ Months (Possibility of Extn)

Location : Richardson, TX 

Visa Status : US Citizen, GC, EAD


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the installation, layout, and maintenance of lab network components. Plan, design, analyze, and provide technical support for data communications network or group of networks. 


Essential Job Function:

Assist with configuration and management of Cisco Routers and Switches.

Assist with the Wan and Lan infrastructure (Cisco and Juniper).

Assist with development of as-built documentation for lab testing environments.

Provides physical and technical assistance to lab engineers as required.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

B.S. or equivalent work experience.

Teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations.

Problem solving skills to develop quick yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues.

Demonstrate self-direction, self-motivation, self-initiative, and ability to conclude assignments timely.

Proficient at Lab Testing.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Certification(s): CCNA, CCNP.

Hardware: Cisco, Juniper.

Software: IOS, IOS-XE, ASA
