Job description

Tekscend Photomask, Inc. is looking for a qualified Cisco Network Engineer to join our core-to-the-business enterprise team that will assist with maintaining our communications systems powered by Cisco. This position is vital to ensuring a secure infrastructure for one of the largest semiconductor tooling providers in the world. Located in Round Rock, Texas, Tekscend Photomask focuses on providing a great place to work for its employees and a great product for our diverse customer base. While this position can be remote, Candidates are expected to be within 50 miles of the site due to in-office requirements.
Purpose:
Responsible for operations of the company's internal data communications systems, including LANs and/or WANs, and voice communications systems. May perform analysis to determine the best configuration of systems. Responsibilities involve planning, designing, and implementing the enterprise-wide network; supporting/troubleshooting network problems; coordinating with vendors for the installation of data services interfacing with company devices such as routers, firewalls, and switches; assisting with proposal writing. Responsible for project planning, cost analysis and vendors comparisons. This position will also be susceptible to international travel to our sites across EUR/APAC.
Knowledge/Experience:
  • Minimum of three years' experience working with Cisco Systems network-based environment
  • Cisco ASA configuration and management
  • IPSec tunneling (LANtoLAN tunnels)
  • SSL VPN tunneling (AnyConnect/Cisco Secure)
  • Cisco NX-OS and vPC technology (Nexus line of switches)
  • Cisco IOS and IOS-EX
  • Cisco controller based wireless LAN technologies.
  • Understanding of network services such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
  • Layer 3 technologies such as SVI's, HSRP, EIGRP and BGP.
  • Layer 2 technologies such as spanning tree, vlans, trunks, vtp, port channels, PoE
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
