The Network Engineer 2 is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Berkshire Hathaway Energy's enterprise network infrastructure. This role focuses on the implementation, operation, and troubleshooting of routed and switched networks, network security technologies, and associated management tools. The position also supports the deployment of new networking technologies and applies automation and scripting to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Experience working in data center environments, supporting network infrastructure operations including switching, connectivity, hardware installation, and maintenance activities.
Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Configure, support, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless systems, and related network services.
