Job description

We are looking for a Resource Manager in Calgary, Alberta. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.


Position is available as remote, with required on-site meetings downtown Calgary.



Role Description

The Resource Manager will play a key role in supporting InSyncโ€™s recruitment and resource management functions, working closely with Senior Resource Managers and Account Managers to identify, qualify, and connect top technology talent with client opportunities. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is looking to build expertise in recruitment, resource management, and account support. With hands-on mentorship, meaningful responsibility, and a performance-driven culture, this position offers a clear opportunity for professional growth and progression into Senior Resource Management or Account Management.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process from candidate sourcing and initial outreach through screening, qualification, and submission.
  • Source, identify, and engage both active and passive candidates using online recruiting platforms, professional networks, and internal candidate databases.
  • Review resumes and assess candidates against client requirements and position specifications.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate experience, skills, communication, and overall fit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and develop a reliable network of qualified professionals.
  • Partner with Senior Resource Managers to understand recruitment strategies, priorities, and best practices.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and the Account Solutions team to identify and present qualified candidates for client opportunities.
  • Research and identify prospective candidates for specialized and high-demand positions.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and assignment information within the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Track recruitment activity, candidate pipelines, assignments, and follow-ups to ensure a consistent and organized process.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of recruitment practices, technology roles, market trends, and resource management strategies.
  • Contribute ideas and improvements that enhance recruitment processes and overall team performance.


Required Skills and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility and success.
  • Previous experience in recruitment, staffing, sales, account management, customer service, business development, or a similar relationship-focused environment is an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Highly motivated, disciplined, and driven to achieve measurable results.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
