The Manager, Network Security plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our clients' critical data and network infrastructure by overseeing and managing the network security team within our Cybersecurity department. They are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive network security strategies, conducting periodic assessments, responding to security incidents, and cultivating strong relationships with vendors and partners. Additionally, they possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, fostering a business-oriented approach to managing the network security program.
 
What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Direct and motivate a team of network engineer professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to protect our clients' network infrastructure.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop network engineer staff: Identify, assess, and hire top-tier network talent, providing comprehensive training and mentorship to foster a high-performing team.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network security devices, including but not limited to Barracuda, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks
  • Set measurable targets and deadlines for the team, aligning their efforts with the organization's overall cybersecurity objectives.
  • Possess a proactive and innovative approach to network security management, seeking opportunities to optimize resource allocation and enhance profitability.
  • Make informed choices that align with the organization's financial goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify cost-saving measures, optimize resource utilization, and maximize ROI.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in network security
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading network security teams
  • In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, best practices, and emerging trends
  • Extensive experience with Barracuda, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks security platforms
  • Expertise in security assessment and vulnerability management tools
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in complex situations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork across diverse stakeholders.
