Responsibilities

  • Be the OT Champion- Lead and support our Electronic Device History Reporting system, ensuring seamless integration between machines, instruments, and our MES System
  • Network Infrastructure Guru- Take ownership of our physical network infrastructure, keeping our IDF and MDF rooms organized and optimized for peak performance
  • Tech Support Extraordinaire- Collaborate with local IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve computer, printer, phone, and network challenges that arise
  • Emergency Response Hero- Jump into action during priority incidents, helping restore critical systems when they're not performing as expected
  • Project Management Wizard- Oversee installation and support of Operational Technology and Business Applications across multiple sites, working with project teams to plan for future needs
  • Security Sentinel- Ensure all technology meets corporate security requirements and standards
  • Corporate Collaboration Star- Partner with corporate on manufacturing IT infrastructure initiatives and cybersecurity improvements
  • Multi-Site Support Specialist- Provide technical expertise across locations, becoming a valued resource for all IT-related challenges
  • Technology Polyglot- Develop comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing IT/OT systems including PLCs, HMIs, and Windows environments
  • Cybersecurity Advocate- Master BD's OT Cybersecurity standards and ensure compliance
  • Problem-Solving Pioneer- Create innovative solutions to IT/OT challenges as they emerge
  • Upgrade Orchestrator- Maintain and support OT software/hardware through version upgrades and changes
  • Corporate Initiative Liaison- Evaluate how corporate IT directives impact local operations and provide final approvals for site changes
  • Strategic Technology Advisor- Guide purchasing decisions for hardware and software upgrades
  • Standards Developer- Create and implement procedures, establish controls, and recommend improvements to existing practices
  • Trend Spotter- Stay current with emerging technology trends and industry best practices
  • Versatile Team Player- Tackle similar and related tasks as they arise in our fast-paced environment
  • Able to travel domestically approximately 20% of time.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience OR

  • Master's degree and 1 year experience

  • Experience working with Microsoft Server products such as Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, etc.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledgeable in networking concepts.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Proven interpersonal skills with both internal and external clients.

  • Self-motivated and results oriented.

  • Demonstrates leadership abilities.

  • Proficient in Visio and diagramming tools.

  • Understanding of FDA regulations pertaining to medical device manufacturing preferred.
