Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of network-related projects within an organization. The role focuses on managing and coordinating the network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and services.
Job Summary:
The Infrastructure Project Manager will manage and lead the implementation of network projects for Lumexa Imaging ensuring the design, installation, and operation of network systems are completed on time, within scope, and according to technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans to guide all network-related initiatives.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams including network engineers, system administrators, vendors, and other technical resources to ensure successful project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and obstacles, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and make recommendations for resource allocation and optimization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders, executives, and clients on project progress, issues, and solutions. Maintain clear communication regarding milestones and deliverables.
  • Vendor Management: Work closely with external vendors for procurement, installation, and support of network systems. Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance aligns with project goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all network infrastructure is designed, implemented, and tested according to the highest standards of quality and security.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and status updates. Ensure all technical and project-related documents are complete and accessible.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-project support, including troubleshooting and resolution of network-related issues that arise after implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing network-related projects (e.g., LAN, WAN, data centers, or cloud network services).

  • Familiarity with network security best practices and tools.
